Terms & Conditions

Kindly read the following important TERMS AND CONDITIONS before proceeding ahead:

COMPETITION SCHEDULE

Date of Velocity Online Exam : 23rd April 2023 / Sunday
Last Date For Registration : 15th February 2023
Competition Fees : Rs.900/- per child (NON REFUNDABLE/ INCLUSIVE OF GST)
Competition Timings : The competition will be conducted anytime between 9 am to 6 pm IST.
Timings will vary level wise and the exact time for each level will be announced closer to the competition date.

COMPETITION CRITERIA

Number Of Sums: 100
Timer: 10 minutes
Velocity Competition Level: Students will appear for one level prior to the level, they will be in, on 1st March 2023. Parents are requested to check/confirm their child’s Velocity Competition Level with their respective class teacher.

RESULTS

Each level/sub groups will be divided in 3 groups and will be graded in the descending order of their marks as follows:

1st group - GOLD
2nd group –SILVER
3rd group - BRONZE

Results will be declared in 7 to 10 days’ time after the exam.

Results are system generated and results once declared will stand as final and no queries will be entertained regarding the same.

Final competition marks will NOT be declared under any circumstances. Only grades (Gold/ Silver/Bronze) will be announced. However the model tests’ marks can be noted and recorded by the parents.

AWARDS

All participants will be awarded Certificates and Medals as per their respective grades (Gold/Silver/Bronze).
Highest scorer of each level will be awarded Champion’s Trophy and Champion’s certificate.
In case of tie/s for the Champion's place, the participant who has taken the least time will be considered as the champion.

IMPORTANT NOTE: International students will be awarded soft copy E-Certificates ONLY. Shipment of hard copy of Certificates, Medals and Trophies for overseas students will not be possible.

Methods to be used:

Levels FOUNDATION A / B /C – Strictly Abacus is to be used
Levels 1 to 10 – Abacus / Finger Maths / Vedic Maths / Mental Maths

Mock Practice Tests

Participants will be given minimum 10 mock practice tests

Minimum System Requirements:

Devices required for the exam:
- 1 Laptop with Webcam in working condition to give the exam – to be logged in with student’s name
- 1 Mobile phone to monitor the child. Mobile phone to be kept on flight mode (with wi fi on) for the duration of the exam.
Cameras should be kept on in both the devices for the entire duration of the exam. Any student not following the same will be disqualified.
The latest version of Google Chrome Browser.
Webcam in working condition.
Internet Speed at least 1 Mbps or more
Notifications in apps and browser popups to be turned off for the duration of the exam.

DISCLAIMERS & Other Important points/suggestions

Competition fees once paid is Non Refundable/ Non-transferable under any circumstances
The organisers will not be responsible for the outcome of any occurrences outside their control like power failure, slow Internet speed, drop in internet etc. during the exam.
Laptop & Mobile must be fully charged and keep sufficient power / electricity backup solutions.
Use faster, reliable and continued internet connection.
Use of Calculator is strictly prohibited. Any student found using calculator will be disqualified.
Navigation from exam window is strictly prohibited. In case any student switches the window, exam will get automatically terminated.
Exam will be proctored by system /supervised by invigilators at all time.
It will be an AI proctored exam and the organisers will not be responsible in case of auto termination of exam due to non-compliance of rules.
RE EXAMINATION WILL NOT BE CONDUCTED FOR ANY PARTICIPANT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES (including internet problems, power failure, web cam malfunctions etc.)
Organiser's reserve the right to reschedule the competition in any unforeseen event caused due to, but not limited to, any unavoidable circumstances which are beyond the Organiser's control.
